Lisa Robin

Lisa Adkinson's unique designs are a reflection of her study of classic symbols and the patterns found in the architecture and design styles of the different cultures she has visited. Each design embodies a particular emotional and spiritual connection, and her goal is to bring those feelings to life in every piece of jewelry she creates.

In 2008, after more than 15 years as a successful business consultant, former interior designer Lisa Robin Adkinson returned to her artistic roots with the launch of Lisa Robin Jewelry. Since then, she has been a finalist in the 2013 Future of Design contest, a finalist in the 2011 Designer of the Year, nominated for the 2011 JCK Jewelers' Choice Awards, honored three times as a finalist in a national yearly competition for emerging jewelry designers The Halstead Grant, and featured in the exclusive Generation Next Pavilion at INSTORE magazine's annual Smart Jewelry Show in Chicago. In 2009, Women in Business Networking named Lisa one of the "Top 25 Women to Watch" in Dayton, Ohio.

As a business consultant, Lisa founded her own firm in 1996 and facilitated strategy development with more than 200 companies. She was a presenter in the University of Cincinnati's e-Business Experts Series and an instructor for the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber's Strategic Eight Planning Process. From 2004 through 2007, she spearheaded a project for the Health Improvement Collaborative of Greater Cincinnati to develop a community-based physician recruiting initiative. The initiative remains an innovative approach to physician supply issues and the only program of its kind in the nation.

Before she became a consultant, Lisa spent seven years as CEO and owner of Inner Applications, an office interior design firm. She served as president and chairwoman of the Board of Women Entrepreneurs, a nonprofit for small business owners; served on Ohio's Small Business and Entrepreneurship Council in 1994; was named Woman Entrepreneur of the Year in 1992 by Women Entrepreneurs, Inc.; and was selected as one of the area's Top 40 Business Leaders Under 40 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Lisa lives in Kettering, Ohio, with her husband, Doug Brush, owner of Brush Insurance in Centerville, Ohio and her stepson Adam, a student at Miami University.
