About Chapman Jewelers

Our History

Trusted since 1969

Chapman Jewelers began in downtown Wabash, Indiana in the late sixties by Emily's grandparents. In 1969, her father, Bob Chapman took over the store and ran it for several years. In 1982, he moved Chapman Jewelers to downtown Warsaw, Indiana where he continued to provide excellent service, quality, and integrity. In 1999, Bob passed away in a tragic car accident and 6 months later Chapman Jewelers closed.

The legacy continues...

Having grown up her father’s jewelry store her entire life; Emily always had a vision and dream to re-open the family business. After Emily graduated early from high school, she moved to southern California and attended the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, CA. There, she earned her Graduate Gemologist diploma in March of 2002. She continued on her education at G.I.A, taking Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Retail Management classes.

Then, Emily moved back to Indiana and worked for a family-owned, high-end retail jewelry store in Indianapolis. She built some amazing relationships and gained a wealth of knowledge and experience during her time there.

Chapman Jewelers was reborn

In 2010, Emily moved back to northern Indiana to pursue her dream of re-opening the family business and in November of 2010, that dream came true. Emily continues to offer excellent service, quality, and integrity while providing genuine experience for her clients.

Spring of 2020, Chapman Jewelers redesigned their business plan to reflect a unique by appointment only model. It allows guests to shop in a relaxed, inviting environment while working with an experienced diamond expert, one on one in a casual comfortable setting.
