Chapman Jewelers was started in Wabash, Indiana in the sixties by my grandparents. In 1969, my father, Bob Chapman took over the store and ran it for several years. In 1982, he moved Chapman Jewelers to Warsaw, Indiana. There, he continued to provide excellent service, quality and integrity. In August of 1999, Bob passed away in a tragic car accident and 6 months later, Chapman Jewelers closed.
Having grown up in the Warsaw area and jewelry store my entire life, I always had a vision and dream to re-open the family business. After I graduated from high school early, I moved to southern California and attended the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, CA. There, I earned my Graduate Gemologist diploma in March of 2002. I continued my education at the G.I.A, taking Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Retail Management classes.
After finishing school in California, I moved back to Indiana and worked for one of the finest jewelers in the Midwest, Gary Thrapp, of G. Thrapp Jewelers in Indianapolis. I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience throughout my nearly 8 years of being a part of the Thrapp crew.
In 2009, I moved back to northern Indiana and prepared to re-open the family business. My dream came true in November of 2010. The hard work, dedication, and patience have been worth every moment. My goal is to continue to offer excellent service, quality and integrity that my father worked so hard to provide for many clients and friends over the years.
"I have gained extensive knowledge in jewelry repair and restoration, custom design consulting, estate jewelry, diamonds and gemstones, buying and selling, appraising, and the latest fashion trends.
I look forward to not only serving you and your family, but becoming your jeweler for life!"
